TEENAGERS AND READING BY: MIGUEL PEREIRA RODRÍGUEZ

About 80% of children in Spain play video games, watch TV, chat with their friends or play on the computer but only 20% of the children enjoy reading in their leisure time.
But reading books is such a great thing to do. Reading makes you develope your verbal abilities, reduces your stress, makes you smart, improves you focus and concentration, improves your memory, makes you dicover yourself, improves your imagination, makes you learn vocabulary, improves your communication skills... Reading makes you improve as person and is useful and good to you
I will recommend them to follow some tips to make reading enjoyable, like search for a comfortable and nice place to read, choose a good book, visualize the characters or enjoy a snack with your book.

READING FOR PLEASURE

Most of spanish teenagers spend their leisure time going out with their friends, chatting on the internet, being lazy or doing nothing. But what about the reading?

This hobby has been forgotten in the last years, and nowadays teenagers read less.
In my point of view, we have a problem because at the schools, teachers use to order to their pupils to read books obligatory. But sometimes, they don´t enjoy reading that books so we can´t solve this problem at this way.

We must know the benefits and the importance of reading to appreciate it. For example, reading may help you to reduce the stress, to open your mind, to increase your communication abilities and to improve your imagination, your memory or your thinking skills too.

You only have to find the literary genre that you like, to try to get comfortable, to put yourself in the main character´s shoes and to imagine the situations to enjoy reading for pleasure.

Adriana Figueroa Guerrero

Reading is important

Recent studies proved that in Spain, about only 43 per cent of the children read on an aregular bscis. It's a little better than in US , where the 95 per cent of children play video games, chat with their friends...but only the 5 per cent of the children enjoy reading.
Well, this is a very depressing fact because reading has got lots of benefits. For example, you can develop your verbal activities, improve your focus and concentration, you anprove your imagination...
In my opinion, if you want to enjoy your reading, you must choose a good book, find a quiet place  where you can set up your reading and for example, if you think that the book you are reading is too hard to understand, you could try an easier book.

TEENAGERS AND READING BY: CRISTINA FERNÁNDEZ CARBALLEIRA

About 75% of children in Spain play video games, watch TV, chat with their friends or play on the computer but only 25% of the children enjoy reading in their free time.
Reading is important because read help you from many things. Help you grow and expanding your views,it makes you a leader, it set you free from boredom, help you to comunicate and to learn things. Read through you helpful habit.
To make reading enjoyable you have a nice place, find a small place where you cam set up  your reading center. You can imagine in your mind the setting of what you are reading.

Teenagers reading, by Alberto Pérez Rey

95% of US teenagers hardly never enjoy reading and just 5% usually read books. Most Spanish teenagers usually spend their free time going out or playing video games, but they don't often read. Actually, very few children enjoy reading newspapers, magazines or books.

But reading books is such a great thing to do. Reading makes you develope your verbal abilities, reduces your stress, makes you smart, improves you focus and concentration, improves your memory, makes you dicover yourself, improves your imagination, makes you learn vocabulary, improves your communication skills... Reading makes you improve as person and is useful and good to you.

There are a lot of tips to make reading enjoyable because there is a book for everyone, so you jus have to find the type of book you think you'll enjoy.

Teenagers and reading

Nowadays, about 95% of the children in Spain play video games, watch TV, chat with their friends or go out with them, play on the computer or play some sports, but only 5% of the children enjoy reading. Of this 5% of children that enjoy reading, most of them read magazines or sport news paper. Just a few of this percentage enjoys reading a book.
I would like this children to know that reading is important because it's an activity with a lot of benefits, like improve your concentration, your memory or it reduces stress. You haven't got to dedicate a lot of your time reading, just when you have free time or little breaks, because in contrast to the videogames or the TV you can bring always a book with you.
I will recommend them to follow some tips to make reading enjoyable, like search for a comfortable and nice place to read, choose a good book, visualize the characters or enjoy a snack with your book.

Marta and Tania

Reading is important

About 95% of the children in the US play video games, watch TV, chat with their friends or play on the computer, but only 5% of the children enjoy reading. In Spain the situation is similar. Most of spanish teenagers play sports and go out, but only 43% of them read. That's only because they have to do it in the school, no because they enjoy doing it.

They don't understand that reading has a lot of benefits. For example, books develop your verbal abilities and improve your concentration. They also reduce stress, because you have to take your time to read and you should be in silence. Furthermore, they improve your imagination, because you have to create the characters inside your head, or maybe you imagine that you are one of them.

Some people don't read because they find books boring. That's because they didn't find a book that is for them. They must also find a peaceful place, with a confortable chair and a nice light.

Spanish Food, by Cristina Fernández Carballeira y Alberto Pérez Rey

Spanish food is based on beef, chiken, pork, fish, and vegetables.

Meal times:

Breakfast: From 7:30 to 9:00
Lunch: From 14:00 to 15:00
Snack: From 18:00 to 19:00
Dinner: From 21:45 to 23:00

BREAKFAST: In Spain we usually have a cup of coffee and biscuits or cereal.
LUNCH: People usually  eat heavy dishes like beans, pork, beef, potatoes, green salad, chicken etc.
SNACK: We usually eat sandwiches, fruit, yoghurt, chocolate, churros etc.
DINNER: People usually eat the leftovers from lunch or  cups of milk.

NOTE: CHURROS ARE LIKE DONUTS BUT IN STICKS.

At weekends people usually eat more because eat with our families.

DESERTS: People usually eat as deserts ice cream.

Traditional Galician food

Galician food has traditionally been based on fish, shellfish and pork and generally served with potatoes and other vegetables.  The most common and typical foods eaten in Galicia include Galician broth and cured ham.

The Galician breakfast consists of a cup of coffee or a bowl of milk, cereal, biscuits and a slice of toast with jam. We have this small breakfast between 9:00 am and 11:00 am.

Most people today have their biggest meal in the middle of the day, between 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm. Many children at school and adults at work will have a packed lunch. It typically consists of a sandwich, a piece of fruit and a drink. Most teenagers have a canteen at their school, so they can buy food and eat it between classes.

We have a small dinner between 9:00 pm and 10:30 pm. It consists of an omelette, fried eggs, sausages or pizza.

Spanish Food by Mercedes and Susana.

The most popular food in Spain is omelette. It's made with eggs, potatoes, oil and salt.

In Spain we have three meals but they are very different compared to other countries, such as USA specially breakfast.
For example, we have breakfast at 7 o'clock more or lest and we usually have a cup of coffee or milk with toast or cereal.
We usually eat lunch at half-past two or three o'clock and we eat big meals, for example roast meat with potatoes and then a piece of fruit for dessert.
We have dinner between 21:00h and 22:00h and we eat a piece of fruit or milk with biscuits.

Mercedes and Susana.

Spanish food! (Pablo Rañales and Alba Brage)

Meal times:

We´re going to talk about meals in Spain. First, the meal times. Spanish people have three main meals in a day:
First, breakfast between 8:00 and 9:00.
Secondly, lunch (the most important meal) between 14:00 and 15:00.
Finally, dinner between 21:00 and 22:00.

Normally, Spanish people have late meals if we compare with the rest of the european countries.

In Spanish food, we can find different types of meat: pork meat, chicken meat… Also we have potatoes and fruit (because we have the mediterranian diet). Our main dishes are omelette, 'paella' and stew.

I think that now, Spanish food is receiving a lot of foreign influences. Our eating habits are changing and our healthy diet, too. Probably, this fact happens because of globalization. I hope we preserve these habits, this mediterranian diet. It´s part of our identity.

SPANISH FOOD

TRADITIONAL SPANISH FOOD

Spanish food has traditionally been based on beef, chicken and fish generally served with potatoes and lots of bread.
The most common and typical foods eaten in Spain include the paella, omelette and serrano ham. The staple foods are meat, fish, potatoes, flour and eggs.
Spaniards have four main meals a day:
-Breakfast - between 7:00 and 9:00
-Lunch - between 13:30 and 15:30
-Afternoon snack - between 17:00 and 18:30
-Dinner - between 20:00 and 22:30
The traditional spanish breakfast consists of a glass of milk or juice with toast, biscuits, cereal… but Spanish students don’t usually have breakfast.
As for lunch, the typical one includes two dishes, the first one a light meal, and the second one a heavy meal, so only the brave ones can manage dessert.
The afternoon snack is usually a chocolate sandwich and a piece of fruit.
Finally, dinner can be the leftovers from lunch or just a light meal like a piece of fruit or a yoghurt.

Hi, Cris! It's great to hear from you!
Do you remember when I told you that my Hall of Residence was great? Forget it. It's the worst Hall of Residence in the world. My room looks like a cell. It's so dirty, dingy and ugly. Moreover, ther is no door and everybody can see me. But this is not the worst, my flatmate, Manuel Rumano, spends the whole day sleeping, he is so lazy. In this residence even the showers are bad, the drains are clogged. I think that there is a ghost in the showers, at night I usually hear scary noises!
I'd like to be in a house with a host family, it's even closer to the school than the residence. The food is so much better, it's very tasty and delicious and there are also more sport facilities nearby. In the residence there is only a basketball court near, and it's always crowded. But there are many pools and courts near the house I want to go to. I think I mad a big mistake choosing the residence rather than the house.
I hope to hear from you soon
Miguel

AN EMAIL TO A FRIEND, Cristina Fernández Carballeira

Hi Miguel! It's nice to hear from you! Hope you're well.
I know you are coming here in two weeks. But I'll give you some advice. If you can change your residence you shouldn't come here.
The rooms are very dark and small and there are rats in the beds. Moreover, at night you can hear strange sounds from other rooms. In the shower, the water is cold and the drains are clogged. There is a big cafeteria but it serves bland food.
That's why it's better that you go to a house with a host family. Altough it's a big family with three children they are very kind and good people. The house is always in order and clean. The house isn't far from school. The rooms are small but they are beautiful and have good views. They make tasty food, and a sport centre ins't far away.
Please, give some news about your family. Hope to see you soon!

Dear Ashley,

It's nice to hear from you again. I hope that you and your family are well. I heard that you want to come to the Hall of Residence wich I'm staying in. Really? Coming hear is the worst thing that you can do. The living conditions are horrible. I haven't be able to study, work or study well this year. But, fortunately, next year I'm going to find myself a new place to stay.

I'm going to tell you the way I live here. Well, first, the rooms are very small, they are very unconfortable. Also, they are dark and tou need a lot of artificial ligth to study and it's bad to your eyes and it will increase your electricity bills. Moreover, the rooms aren't cleaned everyday. Besides, the neighbours are very unfriendly, the food is bland and nobody likes it.

In conclusion, I recomend that you choose another place to stay, like with a host family. Please let me know your final decision.

Please, give me some news abaout your family. Speak you soon.

Kisses,
Cris

An Email To A Friend. By Mercedes

Hi, long time no see. How are you? I heard you're coming soon...

I'm writing to you from my room, if it could have any name. The Hall of Residence it could be horrible! It's very small and dark and they aren't very clean. It's not only that it's dirty and small but also at the night I have a snoring flatmate, I can't sleep because it's very noisy. A word of warning, DON'T COME, it's a hell-hole and it's dingy and flithy.

I recommend that you go with a host family. It's much better because it's not far from school and you would have tasty food. The room could be small but probably it would be clean. You won't have a snoring flatmate or you won't hear strange noises. You probably would have sports facilities nearby. My Residence is really terrible, I hate it! Think about your decision, please.

Have a good trip and look for a new suitcase and for your pasport too, it's really important!

Hope to see you soon and please, give me news about your family,

Mercedes.

Hope you are well.
I heard that you are planning to stay for a month at the same Hall of Residence as me. you better choose another one. So far, it is  a nasty place where I have had to deal with a lot of problems.

My room was full of dust, and the bathroom was filthy too. I think they have dogs in the basement because I heard squealing sounds at night, and now it will give you the chills. The food is terrible. It´s the worst thing of all because I think they don´t pay atention to that kind of details.

So, I hope you take my advice. Choose the Hall of Residence that I recomend you on the link, all of my english friends say that it´s wonderful and clean. I hope you enjoy this experience and please give me some news about your family.

AN EMAIL TO A FRIEND, Alberto Pérez Rey

Dear Daniel,
Hi man! Hope you're well. Your mother told me you want to come to my Hall of Residence to spend a whole school year. Are you crazy? Do you want to get murdered? Coming here was the worst decision I've made. The hell-hole of your future Residence has rooms that are dingy and filthy. Itś not only that they're small and dirty but also they're full of drug addicts and drunkards. And you want to came here? That's insane. Here there are parties everywhere and everyday, that's not nice, that's horrible. But don't worry, the police always come before durg addicts kill somebody. If you come here, you'll be buried in syringes and cocaine, just think about it.

I think you should live with a host family. They're usually very nice and these houses are close to the school. And the food, oh God, just go there and you'll come rolling home. But don't worry about beeing fat, there are sports facilities nearby. So Daniel, plesae, think about it. Do you want to be between drug addicts or do you want to have a nice hot chocolate every morning?

Hope to see you soon man!
Sincerely, Alberto.

Hi, long time no see. How are you? How are your paretns and your dogs?

I'll tell you about my Hall of Residence in Oxford because next month you'll come. I advise you....It's a terrible place to stay!

Rooms are small, dark and not clean. My flatmate is good by day, but at night I hate her. She is a snoring flatmate. I can't sleep and I'm very tired.
Other problems is the food It's horrible! It's bland. But near the Residence we've a McDonald's. That is OK.
And the shower....OMG the shower! The drains are clogged. But we've got a lake near the Residence so you can wash yourself there.

But if you prefer a host family I can recommend some friends for you to stay with. they tell me it's good. Not far from school, the rooms are small but clena, the food's tasty.

Well, I'll fibish because I'm going to the cinema with some friends.

Please, give me some news about you and your family.

Kisses,

Hi, long time no see. I hope you and your family are well. I´m writing to you from the Hall of the Residence in Oxford. But it is more like a hostel than a residence. Everithing is terrible: the rooms where we sleep are very small for two people and there isn´t enough light to do my homework or study. Also, the rooms are very dirty, so it´s not comfortable. As well as that, I have a snoring flatmate.
You don´t know how difficult it is to sleep all night with him snoring. Sometimes it is really impossible to concentrate on something while he is sleeping. Another problem is that the drains in the shower are clogged. So, you have to have a very fast shower. Because if you don´t, water will floud the room.
My mum told me that next year you are coming here. So I want to give you  some advice. If you can, don´t choose to came to a Hall of Residence. The best thing you can do it is go to a host family. You will be more comfortable and your room will be cleaner.

I cant wait to see you. And please give me some news about you.

Hughs and kisses.

Hi, long time no see. It's nice to hear from you again. I hope you are well.

I heard you're going to come to the Hall of Residence to take an English course in Oxford as I'm doing at the moment. Just a word of warning: think twice. I'm not exagerating if I say this is the worst place I ever see. It's not only the rooms are dingy (dark and small), but also filthy (everything is dirty, I'd say very disgusting). Nevertheless, the worst things come at the night. That means that there are strange snoring sounds.

I believe that you should change your reservation and forget about it. Just run away and don't look back! I have found a nice place where you can live. This is a small  house with a host family, not far from school. Although rooms are small, they are all clean. What's more, you can find sports facilities nearby - I tell you that because I know  you like playing hockey.

Please, give me some news about your family. Hope to see you soon. Willl you visit me when you arrive?

Raquel

The Oxford Hall of Residence

Dear Natalia!

Itś me, Tania! I just heard that you want to follow my example and come to the same English course in Oxford that I'm going... But please, don't do it, unless you want to sleep in a shoe box and eat rubbish, in this case do come! Moreover, your roommate could be completely weird... mine is snoring all time. I feel desperate and sleepy.
If you are still conviced to come after reading this e-mail, please look fon an alternative, for example, look for a host family. My classmate Marta did it ans she's so happy with her decision! She sleeps in a beautiful room and she eats the tastiest food everyday. Believe me, the last class she broght me a pizza prepared by her host and it was the best food that I've tried in weeks.
Yeah! I know that you want to go to a Hall of Residence because you have more freedom to met handsome boys... But you can do it too living with a host family. Marta fell in love with the elder soon of her host family, so you can be lucky too! But don't tell your parents, because I know that your dad is going to get mad.

My best wishes. See you soon
Love, Tania

The Hall of Residence

Hi Sara, long time no see
Your mum told me that you are going to do a course in Oxford next month. I'm in Oxford now, I'm doing an English course and I'm in a terrible Hall of Residence, the name is: The Hall of Residence, "hlell-hole Residence", haha.
I'll tell you about the accomodation here.
First,  I hate the rooms because they are very small an dark and they are filthy. The cupboards are covered in a layer of dust.
Moreover you will have some other problems, for exemple at night I can listen to my snornig flatmate.
I haven't slept for a week. But if you choose another place to stay, it will be better. You can live with a host family.
There are a lot of advantages: the houses are normaly near the school and you can walk to school.
The houses are clean and you will have your own room.
Are you all set to come? How are your parents?
I'm sure that they are very nervous.
Have a save trip,
Bego.
Hi, it's nice to hear from you again.

You're crazy if you want to come to live here! This is a terrible place! The Hall of Residence is the worst place to live because my flatmate snors loudly every single night! What is more, rooms are dingy and filthy, there are mice running around the floor! Moreover, food was nusty! I gives me the chills to die of food poison.

If you stay with a family you'll have delicious food. The room will be clean and spacious. The family is going to look after you and you will be able to the school. You won't have to eat cucumber sandwiches for lunch all day. Furthermore you don't depend on a person to sleep or not. It only has advantages.

Are you all set to come? How are your parents? I hope all your family are OK.
Speak to you soon,
          Sara

Hi Raquel, long time no see. It's nice to hear from you again!

I know that you're looking foward to come to Oxford and to live with me. I'd love that too! But I think that it is better for you not to come to this horrible hall of residence. I hate it! It's not only that the rooms are like a cave (small and dark). But also are dirty. I live in a kind of pig's house. For me, the worst is my flatmate. She's very snobbish and boring. I can't stand her squeacky voice!

I feel that you should live with a host family. Although the rooms are small, they're much better than residence's rooms. The food is actually nice. And the shopping centre is nearby. That's a good thing for you! I know you're keen on buying clothes.

In conclusion, my advise is to run away far from this hall of residence and stay with a nice host family.

Are you nervous about the trip? Did you tell your grandfather that you have a boyfriend? I know that he will understand...

See you soon!

Alba
Hi Martin,
it wasa a long time without seeing you. I hope you are well. The other day, I heard that you wanted to come here at Oxford for finishing your studies. Well, if I tell you the truth, staying at this Hall of Residence is like having a raining weekend.
There aren't enough adjectives to describe the situation of being here. A word of warning, don't come.
First of all, this awful place is very small and has no day natural light at all. But this place has some other big problems. I have to share my room with a complete snoring person. I haven't slept for three days because of the sounds he makes . I hope you will take my advice into account because you were always the wise one . Please stay with a host family or you will regret it!
Speak to you soon,
Brais
Hi María, hope you are well!
Your sister told me that you are coming to Oxford, and you want to stay at the same Hall of Residence as me. But, before you make that mistake, I want to give you a word of warning... THINK IT TWICE and DON'T COME!!!
The conditions are horrible. It's not only that the rooms are small, dark and filthy but algo cold, and you will have to sleep with a snoring flatmate, that thinks that the all floor is for his dirty socks.
I hope I am in time to change your decision abou where to stay, so I will recommend you to look a room with a host family. The rooms will be small but clean and lovely. Furthermore, these houses use to be near to the school and the city centre, so in this way, life would be easier to you.
There are my survival tips, use them if you want not to get depressed (or sick). Hope to see you soon, tell my mum to send me soup and pizza, and give kisses to all our friends.

    Love, Marta.

Job Application

Hey Sara,

I hope you´re well. So, there´s something I wanted to pick your brain about.

I´m thinking of applying for a position as a shop assistant. You know how much I love clothes so I thought it would be ideal for me, because I´ve always dreamt of sharing my passion with other fashion lovers.

You know I´m outgoing, enthusiastic and am really into fashion work. Everybody knows that I´m very talkative and I can think on my feet. I know, I know, I´m the laziest  person in the world, and maybe the clients won´t like me, but my future boss shouldn´t know that.

Those two years that I worked for Pull and Bear have  made me very confident and after that experience I have better interpersonal skills.

Working for Pull and Bear was hell at the time but I can´t deny that I got hands on experience of the fashion industry.

Let me know what you think. Don´t hold back, I want the truth!

Catch you later.

Eli and Noe

I worked for Fragas do Eume High School for three years. I'm not afraid to face a class of High School students. There were more than 20 students per class when I worked there.

What's your opinion?

Let me know what you think. Don't hold back, I want the truth!

See you soon,

Susana.

A wedding to remember

Dear Pabla,

Like I told you last week, I was invited to Beyoncé and Jay-Z´s wedding. So I´m going to tell you some things about the big day.

The bride was dressed in hawaiian clothes: coconuts over her tits and a skirt made of palm leaves. The groom was dressed in a green hawaiian skirt, a white suitjacket and a hat. They were so funny and gorgeous.

They arrived on water skiis to the beach. During the ceremony a group of musicians played typical hawaiian music with ukeleles. After that, some guests gave us a surprise hula dance. At night, there was a DJ and we danced like teenagers all night.

As for the food, there was a lot of yummy food like jellyfish, every type of shellfish and an enormous cake.

As the bride and groom are famous, there were some important guests, for example Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Leonardo Dicaprio... They were dressed very elegantly, just like the rest of the guests.

You'll never believe who I saw!!! Pedro was there with a new girlfriend on his arm. They make a lovely couple but when I spoke to his girlfriend, she was a bit standoffish. Apart from that, the wedding was great and I enjoyed myself so much.

Kisses,
Adriana.

My bestfriend's wedding

Dear Lupa,

Hi, I need to tell you how Cris' wedding was. First of all, everything was alright, the guests were so sweet and the groom was nice too.

The ceremony was in a restaurant near the beach, next to the pub where we met last Saturday. The food wasn’t anything special, but what made it so much fun was the vibe, which was definitely set by the bride and groom, they were dancing until the dawn.

She bride looked  very pretty. She was black hair with very dark eyes and an incredible intelligence. I talked with her for a moment and she looked very happy.
Yes that was a typical weddingand there were lots of people.

In my opinion it was de best wedding in the world and I had fun with everybody.

My cousin's wedding

One of the most memorable wedding ceremonies that I attended and enjoyed was my cousin Ruby's wedding. It was in the year 2007 and I was 21 years old at that time.
My cousin Ruby got married and she was the daughter of my eldest maternal uncle. Among our cousins she was the eldest and she was 24 years old when she got married to a doctor. I was at the wedding from the very beginning: I was even there when the bride left her father-in-law's house. It was a typical wedding that followed the general traditions and customs.
The whole house was decorated, we celebrated for 3 days, lots of relatives and neighbours came to congratulate the bride and they brought some gifts for her as well. The celebration began fin the morning when my sister sat for her bridal makeover. She was making such a fuss over it, saying that her handbag was not properly matching her shoes and the eye make up was too loud and her hair was not properly done. But at end of it all she was indeed looking very beautiful.
In the evening all the relatives came over and house looked like a sea of colours. Everybody was so well dressed and looking so pretty, wearing new and traditional dresses. They enjoyed, sang and danced and everyone cried when the bride left the house.

When everybody left and the house was quiet, the elders said a prayer of thanks for the happy ending of the ceremony. And we the youngsters came up with the resolution that we will stay with our parents after marriage to which all the elders laughed out in unison and we knew that the air of sadness was lifted and the occasion was ending in happiness.
MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING

One of the most memorable wedding ceremonies that I attended and enjoyed was my friend Pablo's on a picturesque island in the Pacific Ocean. I have  known Pablo since I met him at secondary school in Mugardos. It was in the year 2036 and I was 35 years old at that time. I can recall that it was mid-summer and I took 6 days leave from my job to attend.

I was at the wedding from the very beginning: even when the bride left her parents-in-law's house. The whole island was decorated, and the celebration was  five days long, lots of relatives and neighbours came to congratulate the bride and they brought some gifts for her as well. The host prepared several delicious dishes and sweets and everyone wore new  dresses. Everyone enjoyed, sang and danced, the whole event was recorded and everyone cried when the bride left the house in Texas. The bride looked  very pretty. She was black hair with very dark eyes and an incredible intelligence. I talked with her for a moment and she looked very happy.
Yes that was a typical weddingand there were lots of people.
Oh and at the ending of the night I met an old friend that I hadn't seen since I was at the university.
I will never forget that ceremony!

My friends wedding

Hello, my name is Begoña. Last week I went to my best friend's wedding. Sara got married to Alex.
When I arrived at the wedding I saw Sara, I think she's the most beautiful bride that ever seen in my life. She wore a long white dress with pearls. And she wore a heardress.
Her wedding was in Ares, in a big garden, next to her house. They got married in the court.
In my opinion it was very emotional. I cried a lot when Sara said "Yes, I do"
When the ceremony finished , we went to the dinner. For my it was a bad menu because I don't like shellfish but the desserts were very delicious. They were chocolate. When Sara had to give the bouquet of rouses, she came towards  me and and gave me the bouquet.
We had just eaten and started the party. I danced a lot with  my friends from University.
In my opinion it was de best wedding in the world and I had fun with everybody.

My friend´s wedding By: Noe Calvo

Dear Eli:

It’s been so long since we last spoke. Last summer I went to Cris’ wedding and I was very surprised that you weren’t there. What happened to you?
You know, Cris and Jace Herondale had been going out together for a few months and they thought it was time to take the next step in their lives.
It was the best event I’ve ever been invited to. The bride’s dress was GOLD and the bridesmaids´ were black, because the colour scheme was gold and black. It was a very sunny day so the ceremony took place on the beach and there were a lot of tropical flowers.
The party was in the Pandemoinum club, the most famous place in the town. The food was amazing because Arguiñano and Ferrán Adriá made the menu. There was live music, Cris’ favourite group was playing all night. An artist was doing cartoons of all of the guests. We celebreted for four days. And the best of all, I caught the bride’s bouquet, so I hope invite you to my future wedding soon.

With love, Noe.
