I hope you're well. So, there's something I wanted to pick your brain about.

I'm thinking of applying for a position as a trainer at Tommy's kindergarten. You know how much I love looking after kids so I think it would be ideal for me. I've always dreamt of working as a teacher.

You know I'm outgoing, enthusiastic and am really into teaching. Everybody knows my memory is legendary and I can think on my feet. I know, I know, I'm the most absentminded person ever but what they don't know won't hurt them!

This year that I worked for you, looking after your little brother have made me really confident and skilled when dealing with children. So, I'm not afraid of being in charge of kids, looking after them and teaching them.

Baby sitting those German kids was hell at the time but I can't deny that I got hands on experience on dealing with cheeky monkeys!

I am writing to apply for the position of teaching assistant that I saw advertised in the newspaper.

I have loved teaching since I was a child so this job would truly be a dream come true. I can't think of anything better than being able to share my knowledge with all the students of the University of Cumberland.

I'm hard-working, enthusiastic, intelligent and I know a bit of everything. I make sure that I keep up to date on new lessons. I have a great memory and can improvise with ease. I work well under pressure and can adapt to new situations easily, taking initiative when necessary. I also take pride in being extremely organised.

My work with the USC for a year improved my leadership and communication skills and my ability to work with teenagers. My main duties were to teach, to be the advisor of a class ensuring that in that class everything ran smoothly.

My period of work experience with USC was invaluable as it gave me hands on experience of working in a real classroom for the first time and I look forward to developing the skills I learnt previously while working with the University of Cumberland.

I belileve I would be a valuable addition to the University and look forward to hearing from you soon.
