It was great to hear from you. I'm sorry that your holidays were worst, because I had a good time at my Christmas holidays.
On Christmas Eve I were dinner with my grandmother and my cousins in Ares and at midnigth I open my presents and give my grandmother her present. On Christmas Day I woke up very late and had a meal with my parents and my little cousins. At night we went out with my friends and gave presents for them.
On New Year's Eve I went to Lugo to a party, it was great! But the next day I was ill.
I wish that you have a good 2016!

Christmas Holidays by Cristina Fernández
Hi Elisabeth,
It was great to hear from you.I hope you and your family are well.My Christmas holidays were good.
On 20th December I went to a shopping centre and I bought a beautiful dress to wear on New Year´s Eve.I bought a present for my boyfriend too.I lost my money but a good person gave me it when she found it.
On Christmas Eve I was with my aunts,uncles,cousins,grandparents and my mum.It was horrible! Many people were shouting,it was stressful.But the food was fantastic.I came home early because my mum wanted to sleep.In the morning I opened my presents.I felt happy!
Most afternoons I stayed with my boyfriend. He gave me a present,obviously!
On New Yearś Eve I was with my family.I wanted to go out later wearing my new dress but my mum said no.
2015 was a good year for me,but I think that 2016 will be better.

It was great to hear from you.It sounds like you had a fantastic Christmas with your family.
My Christmas was good. I spent my holidays with my family.
On Christmas Eve I opened my presents at home before I went to the rest of my family´s house.I
had dinner with my grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and my parents. I enjoyed hearing all their news.
New Year´s Eve was stressful. I went to my aunt´s house and after dinner they all started to sing and dance. I wanted to come home and sleep.
The next day, my cousins came from Madrid and we stayed together all weekend . A great way to end the year.

My Christmas Holidays
Dear Cris,
It was great to hear from you. I hope you and your family are well. I have to tell you how my Xmas holidays were. I don't know where to start! I used to spend my holidays in A Coruña with my mother's family, but this year I spent it at my home in Mugardos.
On Christmas Eve, I had a low key day at home watching films and I had dinner at my grandmother's house with all my father's family.
On Christmas Day I went to A Crouña to have lunch and spend the evening with my mother's family, there we had lots of fun and I enjoyed it so much because I hardly ever see them.
From Christmas Day to New Year's Eve I spent my free time meeting friends and staying at home watching films or reading.
On New Year's Eve I got ill in the morning, so I couldn't enjoy the day but I had dinner at my grandmother's house in Mugardos and then we ate the twelve grapes to celebrate the New Year.
On New Year's Day I got up very early because I had to help my parents in their bar. In the afternoon I met my friends and we went to a bar to have a hot chocolate.
From New Year's Day to 6th of January I spent my time meeting my friends and going to A Coruña to celebrate the New Year and to see my mother's family.
On 6th of January I went to A Coruña because we always spend this day there. I enjoyed exchanging our presents and after that we stuffed our faces.

Christmas Holidays
Hi Martín,
It was great to hear from you after all this time. My holidays were great. I went with my family to the town where we used to live, Viveiro. I was happy to see my old friends again and I also met some new people. The journey was a little bit boring but in the end it doesn't matter because I really enjoyed seeing all my family again including some of the family who live further away like in Madrid or Seville. I got some presents the same as last year. I was in Viveiro until the afternoon of New Year's Eve . On Boxing Day we spent all day at home eating sweets and watching Premier League football matches and talking a lot. On the 6th January I received some presents and finally I went back to school.

As you know, on Christmas Eve I went to my grandma's house. I had dinner with my parents and my dad's family. I received a lot of presents: a mobile phone, clothes, chocolates... but the best was my new cousin: Antón. He was born on Christmas Day.
On the thirthieth night I had dinner with my mum's family and later I met my boyfriend and some friends. We went to Ares and Mugardos for a few drinks. I came home at eight o'clock in the morning New Year's Day. I woke up at half past two and had lunch with my parents and their friends. In the afternoon I went to Rubén's house and we watched a film.
All in all I love my holidays. Friends, family, great moments...

How I spent the Christmas Holidays
Hi Alba, it was great to hear from you. It sounds like you had a fantastic Christmas with your family. Those days I didn't travel anywhere, but my holidays were really great because my family came to visit us as they do every year.
On Christmas Day, my aunt cooked dinner for the whole family and we had a nice meal. I enjoyed hearing all my family's news because I got to know that my cousin is going to get married this year.
As you know, on the thirtieth of December my family came to my house to have dinner and watch the New Year's Eve celebrations on TV. After that, I went to a party with my friends and had some drinks.
The second week of my holiday was low key, I only relaxed and went shopping.
All in all, I think that it was a great holiday because I was with my family and friends and I enjoyed myself a lot.
